Cocky previous comments aside, I'm pretty happy with it, being my first completed fanvid (not including that House blooper thing). I must have spent about 12 hours on it. And another 2 trying to publish the damn thing! Movie Maker got sick of me in the end, I think.

Just letting you know I've done another friends cut. If it seems I've been unfair in cutting you, feel free to let me know, but (in case you haven't noticed) I'm rarely on LJ anymore, and I'd say it's highly unlikely that that's going to change in the near future. As for those of you who've known me from the early LJ days, or those of you who I've contacted beyond LJ (or met :P), I want to tell you how much I value the time I spent with you, even if it wasn't in person. Some of you have helped me more than I can say; I used to live for this place. A few of you have been there with me as I faced tough times and periods of loneliness and despair, and as I tried to get myself on track. And I won't ever forget that. It's sad to think that I can't even make time to be here, but it just seems that I'm moving forward and this place is going in another direction. Something that just... happens to some people, I guess.

But, melodramatic speeches aside, I hope you're all doing well. :)

As for my hiatus, well, I lol'd pretty hard at it this afternoon. It seems as soon as I try to make it official, I get all these opportunities for internet time. So I'm using that as my "get out of jail free card" now. So to speak.

I figure that I'll feel less guilty about missing all my friends' entries if I go on official hiatus. I'm still able to sign on here and there (ie. when I get up at the crack of dawn for work or school), so you might hear from me sometime. I really can't say.

Also, school is consuming a lot of my time. I'm loving it so much, but it is all I ever really think about. And, y'know, all I should be thinking about.

I have been AGONISING over the colouring of these Sweeney icons, and there are still only a FEW that I'm 100% happy with. Still, you can expect a tutorial for it sometime (unless I forget). Getting those to look relatively normal was quite the mindf*ck. imo.

Okay, so here's my first ever Twilight manipulation. At least, that's what I think it is. I really have no idea. I was like "LET'S FIND A PICTURE OF KRISTEN STEWART AND MAKE HER INTO VAMPIRE!BELLA", then successfully gave her golden eyes and pale, shadowy features, and then idk what the fuck happened next. I sort of like it, but the fact that it's really sort of nothing but the result of two hours' fiddling gets on my nerves.

As you may have noticed (but probably haven't because I'm still posting the occasional entry/comment), I've not been around much lately. And I'm not going to be for a while. I'm still checking in every now and then, but I think I've missed a lot.

There's just a lot of stuff going on right now, with me, with my family, with stuff in general, and 95% of the time I'm a horrible person to be around because of it. Plus I'm just not taking as much interest in, well, anything, as I usually do. I figured it was nicer of me to actually make that known rather than keep ignoring everybody.
